One of our favourite Japanese restaurants close to us is Maruhachi Ra-Men here in Surrey, British Columbia.

Everything we have tried there is brilliant but we especially like anything with cha-shu or their fried chicken dishes.

On this visit we had:

• Jerk Fried Chicken
• Chicken Karaage
• Pork Curry with Chicken Katsu (spicy)
• Tsuke-Men

The Tsuke-Men is, I believe, something they have recently introduced and obtaining feedback from customers. It was awesome, I hope they keep it on their menu.

The staff here are very friendly.
