A Chinese actor previously known as Peng Hong Yu. He is a Director, Screenwriter and Actor. He has appeared in some lowly rated movies which we haven’t seen.

Review

This movie suddenly appeared in iQiyi with no fan fare, from what I can remember.

It is actually pretty difficult to find out information on this movie. There is limited information on IMDB but nothing in MyDramaList at the time of writing.

There was some brilliant original comedic scenes in this movie along with some drama and action. I enjoyed the little twists in the tale.

The movie is set in the Republic Era which influences the story line later on in the film.

Peng Yusi’s character certainly came across some dumb luck when becoming a so-called assassin, all starting with an encounter on a train. But was he responsible for the “luck” that he encountered?

Acting was good, script worked well.

Summary

Absolutely worth watching, I really enjoyed it.
